What is PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana 2023
Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana is named after Lord Vishwakarma. This Scheme was Launched by our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 17 September 2023. People covered under this scheme like craftsmen, carpenters, masons, goldsmiths, blacksmiths, etc. 18 such professions are covered. In this Scheme, the government will give a loan of Rs. 3 lakhs to the people. So, That they can take their business forward. Apart from this, the government also provides the facility of skill training, training certificates & ID cards, and marketing support.

Key Features of PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana 2023
- Objective: To provide Financial Support to the people who come under the scheme like craftsmen, masons, blacksmiths, potters, goldsmiths, etc. to take their business forward.
- Skill Training: Under this scheme, Training is Provided in 2 types, 1st Basic Training Which is for 5-7 days i.e. (40 hours), and 2nd Advanced Training which is for 15-20 days i.e. 120 hours. During The Training, The Beneficiary is Also Given ₹500 per day as his labourer wages, and ₹15000 is also given to him to buy a toolkit.
- Training Certificate and ID Card: During this scheme, The ID card of the Beneficiary is made and after the Completion of the Training, A Certificate is also given to him. So, No Other person can take advantage of this Scheme.
- Credit Loan: Under this scheme, The beneficiaries will be given a free enterprise development loan so that they can take their business forward, this will be given in 2 installments. The first of 1 lakh will be given on repayment of 18 months and the second of 2 lakh will be given on repayment of 30 months. The Interest Rate of the above loan is 5% p.a.

- Under this scheme, If any person wants to avail benefits of this scheme, then he will have to do the same business as he has selected at the time of registration on the website.
